How is each pet’s Zest goal calculated?

Every pet is an individual with unique features and needs, and no two are alike. Our aim is to have the most personalized Zest as possible for each pet. Depending on their characteristics, the ideal amount of Zest for two dogs of the same breed, for example, can be different.

The ideal amount of Zest actually depends on several factors. The main ones are:

• Life stage (puppy/kitten, adult, senior)
• Lifestyle (amount of exercise and its intensity)
• Features (breed, size, neuter status…)
• Existing health conditions (e.g., joint disease, overweight, obesity, deafness…)

These are carefully considered by our vets, with the end result being an amount that’s appropriate for your specific pet and their needs.
